Taught by Rachel Wood
JOYfilled Arts & Crafts Virtual Summer Camp July 22-24
Painting sounds like a fun, relaxing activity right? But then you go to paint, all your supplies ready to go, you stare at the blank piece of paper, and you draw a big fat BLANK. You have no idea what to do. Trust me, I’ve been there!
But there’s a way to fix that!
Rachel will teach you how to bring the relaxation back to your arts and crafts game while making gorgeous, abstract art! (Even more relaxing than wine and paint!)
No Skill Level Required
Paint Set (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, tempera, whatever you like!)
A few different sizes of brushes
Paper, canvas or canvas board (or really any surface you prefer to paint on)
Available for Online Attendance
Rachel Wood is an Oregon-based artist and her main mediums include abstract acrylic on canvas and watercolors. She has been taking art classes and creating artwork since she was a teen and over time her focus has been on creating art for home and communal spaces. Rachel loves to play with color, experiment with new ways of unplanned painting and allowing emotion to be her guide when she puts brush to canvas.
